Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 A song that was pretty much every bit as good as that of the cartoon, and a lot of fun to sing during pillow fights.Shea should bring back those outfield walls made of sandstone bricks.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 That's a ritual. Chewing tobaccah and a hook for the pitcher.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Crazy ABC News footage from 1969.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 That's win number 300, not his no-hitter.
Guest patona314 Guests Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 my bad. i should have realized that his no no was with the red stockings (in cincinnati of course)

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 Wally Backman finds himself in a crap pilot that blew their production budget on flying him in.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted February 18, 2007 Posted February 18, 2007 1.What the fuck?2. What the fuck?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 This is a one-camera technique. They keep the camera trained on Wally for the answers. They later repeat the questions in a broad two-shot and edit it together as if there were two cameras all along, but they do such a bad job of it that the background hiss changes every time there's an answer.

soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 I heard Barbara Streisand, Liza Minella and even possibly Bette Midler in there, but I'll take a gamble and say it was Glenn Close.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 I cheated and found out who it was. Never would have guessed it in a hundred years.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted March 2, 2007 Posted March 2, 2007 OMG! That's enough to spoil one's enjoyment of the tribute.
