Fan Anger Reaches Breaking Point

YAHOOLAND -- Fans of the cellar-dwelling CranePool Forum League team the Willet's Points are becoming increasingly vocal in their demands to fire manager Willets Point. "It's like he doesn't even bother to make a lineup for some games," vented longtime fan Shirley Brown of Minnetonka.

Except for a brief period in early August when the team climbed into to 16th place, the Willet's Points have held an iron grip on last place often far behind their CranePool Forum League competitors. While the squad is plagued with injuries, fans are not placated by management's explanations that things would be better if the team were healthy. "They can't hit for shit, they can't pitch, and Point sure as hell can't make a decent trade. He traded A-Rod for Youklis for Christ's sake," commented Bo Gruesome of Scarsdale.

With the season coming to an end, Point can't be too confident in his job security and almost certainly will not have his contract renewed for next season. When asked for a comment on the fan's anger, Point replied, "Oh shit, that's right. I have a fantasy team. I better go over and move some players around."
