Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 ...to Phoenix. Traded to the D-baggs for prospects
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Nothing like a nice heartbeat irregularity in the middle of the day to let you know you are alive.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Ya fecker...I thought you meant coming to the Mets....
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 JD,I just checked. For what you just did to us, what we now what to do to you is considered justifiable homicide in Connecticut.Later
Guest OlerudOwned Guests Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Maybe this one will work out better for 'Zona than their first.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 So they'd rather have Julio and LHernandez instead of OHernandez and prospects.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 thank god he isn't coming here. he might be the most "washed up" pitcher in baseball (that is, the guy who is most in need of retirement.)
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Funny thing is, you coulda said the same thing about him when he left the Giants 5 years ago.I don;t pretend to know what'll happen, but I will say the guy's an artist and wouldn't put it past him to do something pretty cool again.
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Hmmm. Buster Olney on Mike & Mike this morning said that the Nationals pulled him back off waivers after someone claimed him, meaning that he would be with Washington all season.Usually Buster is pretty spot-on, but he flubbed this one.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 My suspicion is that if the claiming team is ahead of the D-Backs in the standings, the Nats remain eligible to deal with them.
