Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Madson Ks Betraan and he leaves two on.Dagnabbitt.Utley will bat this half against Oliver.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Is it just me or does Delucci just murder the Mets?If you read the papers the last few weeks you'd be sure he'd be traded, and it's a shame he wasn't.If he does go, I'll take on on our side. Bastard.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 pooppaddies!Oliver gives up a homer to Delucci leading off the inning. And Utley grounds a hard one up the middle, and Valentin makes a fine play, possibly robbing him of a single. Thats debatable--of course the Phils anouncers paint it that way.It was a really nice play by Val.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Johnny Dickshot wrote:Is it just me or does Delucci just murder the Mets?Ill have to look that up....So far, this season, hes 3 for 10.(acc to CBS Sportsline)One triple, one homer, 3 RBIs, all off of Hielman. Was 0-fer-2 against Oliver before tonight.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Delgado with a lead off double in the 7th!
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 I love leadoff doubles.Yeah, Delucci I suspect is one of those guys who only hits while I'm watching. Though I do recall him beating the Mets cruelly with a HR one time when he was with Arizona and I was at Shea.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 CarlosD moves up an Wrights line flyout to right.damn---the throw by Victorino beat Delgado to third by a mile, but was way off line. That was a lil scary.Floyd can tie the game here.

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Alas, Floyd goes down swinging. It's up to Franco with Delgado on third with two outs.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Mr.Franco strikes out and the Mets leave the tying run at third.UGH.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Julio does his Cliffie impression and goes down swinging to strand Delgado.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 ]Im a lil fuzzy on everything except the sick feeling I got in my stomach as the ball sailed over the fence. Two words: Don Aase.I hate failing to score after leadoff doubles even more than I love leadoff doubles.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 I hate leadoff doubles that don't score.I hate leadoff doubles that don't score.I hate leadoff doubles that don't score...it's ridiculous.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Feliciano on to pitch. And Wrights error allows Victorino to reach first safely leading off the inning.Victorino is sac'd to second, grouded out over to third.Burrell is intentionall walked and Rollins is hit by a pitch. The Phils have the bases loaded, two out.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 We've had a Duaner Sanchez kinda game ever since Duaner Sanchez left us.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 BIG K of Dellucci (I learned his name has 2 L's in it by looking up his stats earlier- learn something new every day.....) by Feleece gets him out of it, and leaves Utley standing in the on deck circle.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 What's wrong with Wright?Everytime I see him lately he looks like someone just ran over his puppy.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 ]What's wrong with Wright? Everytime I see him lately he looks like someone just ran over his puppy. The fucking home run derby...ban that crap.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 ="Johnny Dickshot"]We've had a Duaner Sanchez kinda game ever since Duaner Sanchez left us.That wasnt exactly Sanchezesque (by Feliciano) but Ill take it.Milledge leads off...Unite and assemble please.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Lastings outlasts Rhodes and draws a lead off walk.Valentin tries to bunt over Milledge, but cant get it done. They get Lastings at second......ok, [u:3ca43c8245]now[/u:3ca43c8245] its the top of the order.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 UGH!They turn a DP, 5-4-3 on Reyes. We are running out of chances.Utley will lead off the 9th for the Phillies.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Utley is 2-fer-4 vs. Feliciano, with 2 Ks.2 quick strikes on him.....
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Feliciano makes Utley look like a tit.....
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Shea fans are chanting : " NO MORE STREAK!NO MORE STREAK!"AND UTLEY GOES DOWN SWINGING!Phils broadcasters turn on the Shea crowd as a result of them cheering the apparent end of Utleys batting streak.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Ryan Howard goes yard and shuts up the crowd pretty quick.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 And Howard makes Feliciano look like a tit...Phils lead 5 to 3.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 HR derby participation hasn't seemed to affect Howard.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Author Posted August 4, 2006 The Chase is overTrue that assumes that the game will not go extra innings

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted August 4, 2006 Posted August 4, 2006 Flash Gordon will try to close it off.LoDuca, Beltraan, Delgado up-then Wright, Floyd and a PH for Feliciano-...Gotta think positive.
