seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Oh. My. God. I haven't been this excited about a movie since, well, never. A Michael Bay-directed live-action Transformers. Hells yeah.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 I saw the preview and was intrigued at first. A Mars rover encountering some alien force. Then I found out it was the Transformers and for some reason, I lost all interest.
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 2 words that send chills down my spine (and not in a good way)... "Michael Bay".... Wolfie, with your affection for headbanging music, i can definitely see why you'd like Bay's obnoxiously loud, fast, mind-numbing macho movies. While the "Transformers" were an 80s phenomenon (after my time), i'd still be interested if it were being directed by almost anybody else.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted July 26, 2006 Author Posted July 26, 2006 I really enjoyed Armageddon, and I was a big ol' Transformers guy in the old days. So I've got no reason not to expect to dig this one.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 We care a lot about Transformers 'cause there's more than meets the eye.
