He met an older man once who was a fan of the Gashouse Gang teams.

"Really?!" The man's eyes lit up. "Who?"

"Ducky Medwick."

"Joe Medwick?! You're related to Joe Medwick?!"

"Yeah. You didn't call him 'Ducky'?

"I did but he hated it."

"Everybody called him that. You must've been a kid. How did you know he hated it."
