Guest Hillbilly Guests Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Endy and the bottom of the order will have to get it done.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Two stright pitches, two runs. Wow!
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Great slicing double by Endy. Real good hitting.Unfortunately the carom was great for the Buccos, and Wright had to hold at third.But... NADY gets a hit of his own!!!Two runs!!Mets lead!!Tracy arguing!!TRACY EJECTED!!WHO WILL PLAY PERCUSSION FOR THE PARTRIDGE FAMILY!?!?
Guest Hillbilly Guests Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Endy scores with a play at the plate. 2 score on the Nady basehit! They got it done!
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Throw beat the runner, but the catcher missed the tag.Good call by Angel Hernandez.Did I just type that?
Guest KC Guests Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 cj: >>>This team stinks...all 25 right now<<<Especially the bench players, I hate when guys come in and can't do dickafter lounging on the pine. This team needs to man up.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Is that a MedicAlert necklace Hernandez has around his neck?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Bunt it, Jose. There's a 41-year-old on the mound.
The Big O Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Billy Wagner coming through, he's throwing heat, no doubt.
Guest KC Guests Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Cleon, can you rate the players based on stink? I mean, some guys didn'tsuper stink today, some kinda stunk, there was some stank. Is stinkinesssomething that can actually be rated, or does saying 25 stink, all of them, make them all equal in stinkedness or stinkitude?, Also, can we look forwardto more stunkosity in the coming days or weeks ahead based on your feelfor stankomity or did they only stink the last week or so?
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Report from Shea:Rick Peterson, actually wearing a jersey and no jacket. Seriously.Fairly uneventful game, Glavine giving up hits left and right really wasn't much fun. glad Xaiver could get some redemption for himself.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Yes - the SNY announcers commented that you know that it's a hot day because Peterson was without his jacket.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 We were lucky in this game. They failed to turn 3 double plays, resulting in 3 runs that would not have otherwise scored. A collision that looked bad results in Cliffy being day-to-day with a headache. Plus we get the benefit of a close call from, of all people, Angel Hernandez. I guess the Endy play makes up for the Braves game where LoDuca spiked the ball. What is with Aaron Heilman? Did he lose his arm slot again? It's bad when you see him trotting in and automatically think to yourself "God, I hope he doesn't walk the first batter again."I guess, to his credit, he didn't.
Guest Iubitul Guests Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 In my house, his name is, "Oh God, not Aaron Heilman"
