Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 You should've just said, "When they play space chess, Chewbacca lets Carlos Beltran win because he doesn't want his arms torn off." Makes way more sense, no?
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Wow, you're such a nerd. You take Star Wars like, way too seriously.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 The hair-pulling and eye-poking can't be far behind. At least the one with R2-D2 makes sense, too, right? The world can always use another Star Wars/Carlos Beltran joke.
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Carlos Beltran didn't even see the last three Star Wars movies. His own prequels were better-written.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Yes, the R2-D2 one makes sense too. In essence, you're saying Carlos Beltran is tough like a wookie, but smarter than one. All kidding aside, I remember as kids we used to get into some heated arguments about Star Wars. Before Jedi, the Great Lando Debates (good guy or bad?) nearly divided the kids on the block.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 I have NEVER watched any of the Star Wars movies, and for that I am happy.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Carlos Beltran successfully navigates asteroid fields all the time. In fact, the odds of him not successfully navigating one are approximately three thousand, seven hundred and twenty to one.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 I mean I tried watching when I was a kid in the 80's but just never liked them...

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Cool, I thought I was weird for not having seem them...
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 If Doc Brown knew Carlos Beltran, he wouldn't have needed to hook up the Delorian to the clock tower. Even his checkswings generate 1.21 jigowatts. If Carlos Beltran had been cast as Rick Blaine, Ingrid Bergman would still be in Paris. If Carlos Beltran had played Stallone's character in Cliffhanger, Sarah would be alive and well.Carlos Beltran knew Donnie Brasco was a rat.Just when Carlos Beltran thinks he's out, they can't pull him back in.Carlos Beltran wouldn't have run from the giant ball like Indiana Jones. He would have picked it up and thrown out the runner trying to go first to third.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Carlos Beltran bathed himself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka, in order to purify the waters.Carlos Beltran once encountered a cyborg from the future that looked remarkably like Arnold Schwarzenegger. It fumbled nervously with a few questions about looking for somebody, before saying, "Ah'm sorry, ah'll be going."
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2006 Posted June 12, 2006 Carlos Beltran didn't need a bigger boat.
