Guest KC Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 If I didn't edit out my sarcastic rant about how bad manager the Mets haveI would have beat you by two minutes.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2006 Author Posted June 9, 2006 Yeah, but it was only close because I chose to mess around with the color options. In all seriousness, you can delete this one as superflous, but howsabout that rant?

Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Delgado's homer makes it 5-1 Mets!
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2006 Author Posted June 9, 2006 I'm running outta kaboom images here.Carlos Delgado!
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Crap - Delgado can't handle the bad hop, and it's ow a 5-2 game with the tying run at the plate for Arizona
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2006 Author Posted June 9, 2006 Ok, Delgado couldn't handle it, but that's totally Trachsel's fault. You're up 5-1, there are 2 outs with nobody on base. The backup catcher and his .233 average are batting 8th...and you can't throw a single strike? You need to challenge hitters in these situations, dammit.OE: Mel Rojas is the 392nd greatest Met of all-time? Seriously?
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 I said it before and I'll say it again -Mr. Wright's 2-out RBI single gets back last inning's run and makes it a 6-2 Mets lead.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 ]OE: Mel Rojas is the 392nd greatest Met of all-time? Seriously?IMO he's the worst Met of all-time.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Valentin walks. Bases are full for N-D. Time to break this game open like a pinata.

Even if we look to this year -- Jose Lima hasn't ever helped the Mets, ever, in any way. Rojas at least had *some* good outings here and there. But as for relievers who have >75 IP for the Mets, I'd suspect he's in the top-10 worst.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Endy's sac fly brings home Beltran. 7-2 in the middle of the 5th.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 ]Mel Rojas is the 392nd greatest Met of all-time? Seriously?Seriously. But again, it's not about greatest, but most accomplished.
Guest martin Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 the health department is killing me with these ads, first the aorta-goo, and now the throat-hole guy. i could use more cheery dunkin donuts songs.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 The voice box guy gets two commercials? One was more than enough.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 if it helps convince a few kids not to smoke its worthwhile. they don't crack down on that nearly enough.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 A commercial without such a high Ick factor would probably be more influential than the voice box guy.Trax works out of a jam unscathed. 7-2 Mets after 5.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Trax gives up a homer to make it 7-3. 1 out, 1 on, and Feliciano warming up in the pen.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2006 Author Posted June 9, 2006 Feliciano on to try to bail out Trachsel's mess.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Shit! He's not doing a good job of bailing. It's 7-5 now.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 9, 2006 Posted June 9, 2006 Oops, Carlos. Not a good time to overrun.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2006 Author Posted June 9, 2006 Walks and errors kill. That was a really ugly inning.
