I once walked right across a movie shot with Bea Arthur over on 3rd Avenue.
She and (the now late) Richard Kiley were filming some TV movie in front of a building I was working in at the time. It was around lunch time and they had stopped all sidewalk traffic on either side of the block. Except that didn't stop those who were jaywalking directly across the middle of the block; like, umm ... me. So as cameras are rolling, I appeared from between two parked trucks and right across the shoot I had no idea was there. The suckers never saw me coming.

As far as I know I was cut out of the final take although I never saw the flick.

It's boggling that an athlete can pass on being a UM quarterback in order to be a minor-league outfielder with the Mets., especially after the Mets already had one Miami quarterback peter out in their system.

I don't see why everyone's making a big deal about Almonte marrying a 30 year-old.
Lots of guys marry younger women.

I think that most people who have spouses more than 10 years their junior should pretty much wait to marry until the significant other has left high school.

But then there's that whole possiblity of the signing bonus thing that they might miss out on if they do that.

I could be wrong.
