I think the reason for Wagner's appearance is that it's still spring for him, and getting him a safe inning or two is about getting his work in.

I also think that if Aaron Heilman pitches like an All-Star, but the Mets rotation is hot and healthy enough to keep him in the pen, that's just great. And I'll be over the moon.
