Hope so. He's looked good and his pitch count is pretty low.

I'd be comfortable with Heilman in there for two, though--really, Willie can't make a bad call here.

i would like to see more blowouts so jorge julio gets a chance to figure himself out. maybe 6 runs in the top of the ninth to clear some space for that dude.

I'm not sure if there's much to figure out. The guy can throw, but he can't work a batter. He's a slinger and nothing more.

Wright with a nice play there. He was playing in on Watson, who poked a ball to Wright's right. Wright snagged it, did a 270, then threw out Watson to end the inning.

Very nice.

Double switch would have compromised the defense (putting either Woodward or Valentin at 2B).

Nah. Take Nady out of there and throw in Chavez. Defense is solid and Heilman gets a two-inning save.

I like this team. But I find myself wondering when the bottom's gonna fall out. I remember stretches like this last year (well, I remember TWO stretches like this last year) surrounded by some seriously shitty play.
