Bah.

Petey doesn't like the cold. His velocity is pretty good but he can't throw his change or curve.

When does it get warm again?

After the homerun, the entire crowd is getting behind Pedro and cheering him on. Huge cheer after his strikeout following the home run.

So there's no racial motivation behind the boos that Beltran is hearing.

Most likely it's a lack of brain power motivating those jeers. Exhibit A: Joe Beningo agrees with the booing.

Delgado gets the lead back. Officially off to a hot start now, latin blood notwithstanding.

That is a great kaboom Gwreck. I don't think I've seen that one before.

Was second on the Google image search, actually.

I agree though...I think this one is more of the Grand Slam/come from behind/walk-off type...will have to save it.

Nice ground rule double by the X-Man!

What asshole complained about the Cameron/Nady trade?

That guy in the mirror wouldn't shut up about it.

Leadoff double into the left field corner lands near the warning track.

What'd he say? Was it as good as the "jumping on cripples" comment from Opening Day?

I thought he referred to Nelson de la Rosa as a monkey. I was going to post something about it but didn't because on second thought I was sure I misheard.

Is that what you heard Iubitul?

If it's true. I guess that'd explain the "magic little monkey" comment he made during the pregame.

EDIT: That's monkey with a k
