Guest cooby Guests Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 This is the book that HahnSolo wrote...This is a really good book!Tons of research must have gone into it, and it is a well written, clever book that you can pick up and put down and just have fun with. There are dozens of topics and they are all broken down into the "top ten" in each. But here's the twist--if they don't have to do with the Super Bowl, they're not included. But it's not just dry football reading, the topics include Super Bowl ads, Halftime shows, guys who "did time", two-guys-in-one-family combos, cool names, etc, for you pop culture freaks. But for those who do like football, there is tons of stuff about players, coaches, scores, stadiums (go away forum police, I'll say stadiums if I want to)It's pretty new too, (2004) so it's very topicalThis is unsolicted, btw, Hahnsolo didn't ask me for an endorsement. I was reading it anyway.Link:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1574888897/qid=1127507633/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/104-2456889-1495140?s=books&v=glance&n=283155
HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Wow. That's about the best endorsement I could have gotten. Thanks Cooby.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted January 17, 2006 Posted January 17, 2006 Sometimes I feel like everyone here is either a writer, editor, or English professor. That would explain the parodies.
