It's time for one of us--preferably one with "previous costumed-character experience"--to take one for the team. We could have an insider on the ground at Norfolk!

]Help wanted: Furry mascot critter By RICH RADFORD, The Virginian-Pilot � October 19, 2005 Norfolk Tides baseball club seeks dynamic, fun-loving individual who can communicate without speaking, likes interacting with children, doesn�t mind taking an occasional pratfall, would be comfortable wearing a costume of blue fur in the summer heat and could acknowledge but wouldn�t answer to � at least not verbally � �Rip Tide.� Resumes should include previous costumed-character experience. Excellent for college student wanting to make a few dollars and contacts. Must be willing to make appearances throughout Hampton Roads and be available for every home game of 2006 season. Perks include opportunity to fire an air gun loaded with T-shirts between innings and to run the bases on a nightly basis.
