Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 That was a no-doubter. Right fielder just turned to watch.____________________________This post had the designation 156) Pete Harnisch
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 5 doubles and 4 homers make up 9 of Jacobs' 13 hits.I think we have a new isolated power leader for the team.____________________________This post had the designation 156) Pete Harnisch

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 A very Ichiro-esque hit for Kaz there. With two strikes, he fouled off the high curve, and you could tell he was following it perfectly. Then he went down for the curve off the shoetops, not fooled at all, and lined it over the third baseman's head.A perfect throw gets him on the steal attempt, but he took third when the ball was bounced into center.Beltran, of course, grounds out to end the inning. I almost felt like joining in with the boo birds. Instead I yelled, "Get him next time, Carlos!".Grrrrr.____________________________This post had the designation 156) Pete Harnisch

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Wright hit on the elbow with a pitch, and the know is already visible seconds later, as is the stitching from the ball.I knew we should shut him down for the year._____________________________This post was the last post Elster88 made under the designation 165) Pete Harnisch
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 I hope Willie is watching.
