Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 The Red Sox have announced theirs already. Interleague will finally have NL East facing AL East again, the matchups that you know actually make some sense. The Mets will be in the Olde Towne June 27-29. I'll buy the first round for anyone who comes up.
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 BoSox tix are hard to come by. Is there any chance we could get a block of group tickets?

Guest KC Guests Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 You two.How and why can team announce their scheds in early Aug when ya can'tget a straight Mets sched for like never and then ya can't buy tickets untilwhat feels like the first thaw???
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 I will be at Fenway for that series by hook or by crook.
Guest ABG Guests Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Hopefully they're playing in Charm City as well.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 I'll meet youse in Balmer.Maybe even Boston. This could be fun.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Count me in for one of the trips: preferably Baltimore, as I've already been to Fenway twice, but if we're not going there, then I'll do Beantown.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Do keep this little phrase from that piece in mind before you go finalizing vacation plans:"The schedule still must be approved by the 30 team owners and is subject to change."
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Well, it's not like they're selling us any tickets before the schedule is finalized.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Of all the... Patronized by Danny Freaking Garcia.
Guest KC Guests Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 LF.Keeping Mets posters grounded since like forever.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2005 Author Posted August 11, 2005 Who's LF? Any relation to FK?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Well the only reason I point that out goes along with your question of why the Mets don't release this info. I guy I know who works in the ticket dept swears that sched details are still changing well into the fall and that they just don't want to publicize anything only to have to retract it later. And keep in mind that this story isn't something the Sox are announcing, it's a leaked glimpse of a tentative format published because the writer knows he has a captive audience who can't get enough info about their once and future enemies (Yanx & Pedro). Not sure how/why the Mets pick their sale dates, I never asked him.
