2) Jeromy Burnitz has hit the most homers (165 as a Brewer, 53 as a Met) of all players who have played for both teams. Who has hit the second most?


3) Who has the most wins (hint: 47 as a Met, 9 as a Brewer) of all pitchers who have pitched for both teams? (Hint: He's pitched for a lot of other teams as well.) Jesse Orosco

The challenge shoudl be who reached the highest total in both uniforms. That should be the challenge, if only because I think I know that one. Skip Lockwood.

Skip Lockwood: 24 wins as a Met, 28 as a Brewer = 52 wins, four shy of the record-holder. Good guess, but wrong.

Lockwood does have the most losses (55 as a Brewer, 36 as a Met) in both uniforms, however. The guy with the most wins went 56-54 in both unis.

Yeah, I knew that was wrong.

Still think it's better to measure a guy by the level he reached in each uniform. Else, we have Warren Spah with the most career wins with the Milwaukee Braves and Mets, and Willie Mays with the most career homers with the Giants and Mets.

The truly hybrid legacies are more interesting. Plus I don't know.
