Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 27, 2005 Posted July 27, 2005 It's over, and Mets walk away with the all-important pythagorean series victory, 1.92 games to 1.08.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 A toast to Wille Randolph, who, buy luck or wisdom, chose the right day to get Anderson and Castro in there.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 Two thoughts. I said to my wife this weekend that if they lost two out of three in Colorado, that would be okay... as long as they won three of four in Houston. This is the MUCH bigger series coming up, against a team that (a) we're potentially battling for the wild card, and (b) is hot right now.Gotta get three in Houston.Also... honestly, I don't know if I'd be too upset with Castro catching 110-120 games next year. He's young, he can play defense, he can hit... there are certainly a lot worse options out there. Keep in mind, he was the Marlins #1 catcher going into the spring not too long ago (before his off-field issues).
