Guest cooby Guests Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 High School parent/teacher conferences are interesting. Those teachers your kids claim are wack jobs? You usually find out that your kids are right.I had one English teacher go on and on about the high price of parchment paper and how she had to buy it all herself and the kids just don't care blah blah blah and I'm sitting there wondering what that had to do with my son and why he got a C.

He's come home a couple of times looking like he got into a fight. We'll ask him what's wrong and he'll mutter something about Braves taking his lunch money but then he clams up." "I see. His record does show a history of bad experiences with Atlanta. I wish I had known sooner because it's a problem New is going to have deal with sooner than later." "We know. We've tried. We just can't seem to get him to focus." brilliant, good read.

soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 If you were listening to the teacher dear you would know that pitching is not necessarily New's biggest problem. If New is going to get a tutor I'd prefer it to be a Math tutor. You know 2 out 3, 4 balls, sometimes New thinks thre's 2 of something when there's only one?You never listen. New is just like you.
