]New York Yankees' Gary Scheffield celebrates with Derek Jeter (2) after hitting a three run home run against the Tampa Bay Devil Rays during the eighth inning at Yankee Stadium in New York, Tuesday, June 21, 2005. The Yankees defeated the Devil Rays 20-11.

At first glance, I thought he had Jeters hands pinned behind him...

I think the photo is more about the ass grabbing and dry humping than it is about tongue.

And BTW, does this or does this not make my point from last week that one cannot properly evaluate a situaion based on one still photo?

You know, I used to kinda have a thing for Gary Sheffield, and I'm a little jealous right now

I am laughing way too hard to be able to come up with a response to cooby's post....

I vote Jeter. He's overrated (a very fine player, but not nearly as good as MFY fans and the media think), and he just oozes insincerity.

Jeter smirks a lot. I rather like the fact that he became the tragic figure on the New Yankees last year, though--the one guy still giving it his all as the season collapses around him.

I just saw the clips this morning, but did anyone else get the impression that peeps were avoiding A-Rod after he crossed home plate? He was so jazzed and it seemed like no one really wanted him nearby.

The clip was pretty short, though, so I may have missed the tounging and dry humping favored by the Yankees.

Oh, and my official answer: Jeter.
