Sort of.  Mendoza said that Myers will be on a “scripted” throwing program in AAA:

“It’s just going to be more scripted,” Mendoza said. “Where if you’re going to go and throw 35-45 pitches, then he’s able to get the three or four days after that, something that at this level with the competition you aren’t able to do.

I'm not sure that's necessarily called for, but maybe he'll be piggybacking with one of the guys on a short leash.

I know Hayden Senger hit a home run in this one, but he's still not "good." However, former #11 overall pick Kevin Parada is hitting .429/.458/.571 for Syracuse, so it might be time to give him a shot. They promoted him to Syracuse pretty recently, so perhaps they're preparing for that move, anyway.

Feels like Parada has been in the system forever, and I don't think he's ever hit over .250 for a full season. I don't know how excited I am about him.
