We watched this yesterday. Apparently, it did not do well but we really liked it.

Featuring Robert DeNiro in dual roles as two gangsters, Vito Genovese and Frank Costello.

Everytime I see the name Genovese I think of Genovese Drug store from back in the day.

The story of the two of these men and the Mafia in NYC and elsewhere, much to J Edgar Hoover's chagrin.

I seem to recall MFS62 liking Debra Messing way back when; she is in this.

To New Yorkers, the name Genevese brings back another memory.

A woman named Kitty Genovese was brutally murdered on a street in Forrest Hills and several people heard it happening ,but nobody called the police.

About five minutes in, at the end of the opening scene, you'll see a gray haired woman say "It was a wonderful affair, and I've never seen so many judges in all my life."

In real life, she's the significant other of a Crane Pooler .
