Nightengale updated his report saying it will be the Minnesota Twins, not the Mets, who take on Philadelphia.Original Post – According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, the New York Mets will be featured in the league’s Field of Dreams game in 2026. They’ll reportedly take on the Philadelphia Phillies. This is set to be the third installment of the series. The league first played a game there in 2021 where the Chicago White Sox defeated the New York Yankees. The last time the game was 2022 when the Chicago Cubs defeated the Cincinnati Reds 4-2. That drops Nightengale down on my list of reliable sources.Later
