So despite not giving up a HR, the six batters he put on base somehow all managed to score.

Looks like Sproat is either very good or very bad. It appears to be alternating between good and bad.

 

The bad outing was when they used him in relief in a "bullpen game". Maybe his head wasn't in that role, as he sees himself as a starter. But if you go back through the thread, you'll see that most of his recent appearances have been lights out.
