Glad to hear the prognosis is good. But you just never know with these things.

Wow ,a lot of that is tough to read,  hoping for a full recovery

At least we've advanced from the day when coaches and announcers (particularly in football) used to say, 'It's not an injury, it's just a concussion'. And then there was the always popular, 'Oh he just got his bell rung'. 

In fairness, we didn't know as much then as we do now (and those who did know tended to keep their mouths shut). Now of course we know that a concussion IS an injury, it's a brain injury and at least they're taking them more seriously as compared to back in the day.

It had kind of been slow-motion unsettling how little reporting there had been on this as the season wound down, so thanks for sharing the article.

I kind of hope for him to come back wearing a helmet on defense, for my peace of mind as much as anything.

Yeah I hate that suddenly when the season ends you hear nothing about injuries that happened close to the end

I've never seen a guy look more dead on the field than Jared Young. He was out cold.
