Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Sure, sure, he's not a Met anymore, but Pete Alonso will always be a Met in our hearts. And he's only 4 home runs away from 300! Lindor and Alonso, both within striking distance of 300 home runs. That's, like, synchronicity or something. Anyway, let's see if he can get to the magic number by the end of the year. His last home run before this post was started came on August 26.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted September 6 Author Posted September 6 Clobbered one a few days ago. Three to go!
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted September 6 Posted September 6 He's totally going to do it at Big Shea. The only question is which game he gets 3 home runs

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Three hits and for Alonso today, along with his 100th RBI on the season, but everything stayed in the park as the O's lost 8-1. There are now going to be three opportunities for Lindor and Alonso to do it in the same game.

Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted September 20 Author Posted September 20 Well, he hit #300 on September 15 against none other than the New York Mets.
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted September 27 Author Posted September 27 Next up: Pete Alonso 500 home run tracker He could reasonably get there by age 36-37. His contract with Baltimore ends after 2030 -- just before he's likely to reach the milestone. Hopefully he can get to 500 in a Mets uniform.
