The scratch was first reported by Joel Sherman of the New York Post. The Mets will go with a bullpen game tonight. This comes as trade interest in Peralta picks up. The Mets do not want to risk pitching Peralta tonight and him getting injured before a trade is made, so they decided to change up their pitching plans. It's been reported that multiple teams, including the White Sox, Rays, and Cubs, have interest in Peralta, and conversations are picking up. View full rumor
