Hunter Greene is really good.

Aaron Nola had been pitching bad, but sure looked good against the Mets.

But I'm not sure how Ranger Suarez is making this happen.

He came into the game with a sub-3.00 ERA. When you consider he pitches (I'm guessing) half of his games in that ballpark, this doesn't come as a big surprise.

Since the Vientos double Monday night setting up the tying and go-ahead runs, the Mets have K'd 11 times in 15 trips to the plate.

WE HAVE A HIT!! WE HAVE A HIT!! (it may be our last one for a while, but) WE HAVE A HIT!!

I had a Philosophy Professor in College who told us, "From the time you are conceived in your mother's womb, you are nothing more than a decaying hunk of meat. It's just a matter of time."

I think that describes Marte perfectly.

Suarez continues to carve up the Mets line up. Through 6 innings, he has a career high of 12 strike outs. He is proof positive that you don't have to throw 95+ to get hitters out. He is mixing pitches and hitting his spots.

Ranger Suarez is a very good pitcher, but he is not a guy who typically dominates with piles of strikeouts.

2025 has two 50-home run guys, Cal Raleigh and now Schwarber. Last year had Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani. 2017 had Giancarlo Stanton and Judge. The last time there were THREE 50 home run guys was 2001, with Bonds, Sosa, McGwire and Luis Gonzalez. That feat is almost about to be repeated, as Ohtani is two HR away from 50. Eugenio Suarez could get there, too, as he has 45 dingers.

It's crazy that, despite his horrid struggles earlier this year, Vientos is now on the verge of another 20-homer season.

Also, let's see some redemption.

Hagenman sounds like one of those guys who should be on the Phillies.

How about that stolen base? Not exactly a feel-good moment there.
