Well, kiss this game goodbye. Three run HR to make it 5-0 Cleveland. With our offense, it's pretty much "turn out the lights, the party's over".

Not an encouraging start for a team that might not score more than five runs in this series.

Yet another game in which the Mets starting pitcher can't get through 6 innings. Manaea was very good for 5 innings, then pretty terrible for 2/3 of an innings.

The Guardians gift us 2 base runners, then Alonso hit HR #251 to make a game of it. I was prepared to turn this one off and go read if the Mets didn't show some life in this at bat. I guess now my reading will have to wait.

When I saw the Guards in Cleveland last Monday, they had a good lead going into the ninth. Then Cade Smith, their closer who is not facing a lifetime ban, imploded with the help of two errors to let the Rox get a rare win.

I thought the Mets had the lead when Mullins hit that hard one hopper, but Rocchio made a great stop to prevent 2 runs.
