Met Hunter Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2025 Posted June 16, 2025 Amazing Mets fact:Doc Taylor made his major league debut on April 11, 1962 with the Indians at Fenway Park. A 10 inning scoreless duel vs future Mets coach Bill Monbouquette. Boston tagged the good doctor for 4 in the 11th. What makes this amazing was the Mets made their major debut the same day in St Louis, Docs future WS team. The Mets are all connected if you want them to be. RIP Thanks for always being there Doc.
