Doc Taylor made his major league debut on April 11, 1962 with the Indians at Fenway Park. A 10 inning scoreless duel vs future Mets coach Bill Monbouquette. Boston tagged the good doctor for 4 in the 11th. What makes this amazing was the Mets made their major debut the same day in St Louis, Docs future WS team.
