Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 1, 2025 Posted June 1, 2025 You play fast and loose, swapping out MLB relievers, and you are bound to lose a few, and that is just what has happened, as Génesis Cabrera declined his assignment to Syracuse and was signed by the Cublicans in the very next breath.https://www.ourquadcities.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/19/2025/05/682abb095ebb99.99362977.jpeg?w=876&h=493&crop=1>That picture above in a terrible hat is him against the Yankees after heroically struck out Aaron Judge with the bases loaded and the — oopsie-daisy! — gave up a two-out grand slam to Cody Bellinger.

Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2025 Posted June 1, 2025 I feel like when this cat came up with the Cardinals he was going to be a stud and not a DFA shuttle guy.Cool name, one of a kind, number wise.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 1, 2025 Author Posted June 1, 2025 He threw really hard, especially for a lefty. His real bugbear had been control though most of his career, but he was mostly on top of that with the Mets.If LOOGys were still legal, he'd be appearing in over 100 games per season for somebody, but did not like throwing strikes to righthanded batters.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2025 Posted June 2, 2025 He seemed to have an invisible touch.
