Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 I almost forgot that this one is on me. I'm not used to winning these things. So it's the finale of the weekend long Three Games/Three Networks tour which concludes with a 7:08 first pitch on ESPN's SNBKodai Senga goes for the good guys vs Landon Knack (Knuke the Knack!!)Knack is a 27 y/o 2nd year RH'er who filled in both last year and this due to LAD's multiple mound mishaps. He fared better in his 15 games/12 start rookie campaign than he is so far this season: 6 G/4 starts, 23.1 IP, 16 ER, 6.17 ERA, 1.54 WHIP Most recently he allowed 4 runs over 5 innings in relief vs Arizona and 5 runs in a 4.2 start vs the A'sLet's knock the Sharona out of him.

ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 Doug Fieger should be pitching from the beyond for the Dodgers Vientos tries to get it going from the two hole
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 I don't care for Eduardo Perez's voice in the bothMaybe earthly Doug Fieger could take care of that
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 Good lord, the un-metly unis again....
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 Ohtani homer is sailing over the HudsonVientos sucks
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Author Posted May 25, 2025 Well this isn't starting well [hr, E-5, 2B]
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 Huge huge play by Taylor and Torrens
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Author Posted May 25, 2025 So we take advantage of their error after they couldn't take advantage of ours.Good stuff.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 Nice, for some reason, to have Conforto be the one turning around to watch Alonso's homer fly over his head.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 Lindor acting as wingman for Soto, cool
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 Split screen breast feedingNot really
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Author Posted May 25, 2025 I hope we find out who does the dishes before the half inning is over.
Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 Senga seems to be in a groove after the first-inning jitters. Sits down Ohtani!
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Author Posted May 25, 2025 55 pitches is a bit heavy for three innings (more like 4-2/3 worth) but not too terrible and much of that was from inning #1
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Author Posted May 25, 2025 That's got to be at least two or three uncontested SBs for Soto recently.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 I wish the booth would let up on Soto

kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 Cy Senga, ladies and gentlemen. Cy Senga...
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 Stanek needs to mix his pitches earlier in the count.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Author Posted May 25, 2025 We got Stanek and Kranick so there's no need to panic.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Author Posted May 25, 2025 And we're giving Knack some quick innings.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Posted May 25, 2025 The Mets beating the Dodgers right now is not conforming to ESPN's pre-set agenda, and they're clearly annoyed.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2025 Author Posted May 25, 2025 Different network/same issue as last night: they tell us that someone is pinch-hitting but they don't tell you who for.
