Fans Only Meeting

Today is the first day of the season I woke up mad at the Mets. I suspect many of you are feeling the same way too.



I'm calling a fans-only meeting to work out these problems. I'd like to begin with shock and awe--proposing they send Mark Vientos to Syracuse as a signal of their seriousness to fix this mess (and get him straightened out before Baty eats all his lunch).



Anyone else have comment or suggestions? That's why we're gathered here today. And remember--nothing we say here leaves this room

I believe much if not most of the Mets fans angst is about Soto. There is no realistic expectation of numbers he can produce that will satisfy most fans. Leave him be



They should sell high on Griffin Canning for a need. He's been pitching way above his pay grade which is great so far, but I dunno now



I'd seriously consider sending Vientos to Syracuse. If you do you are making the bet that Baty is the real deal here. I don't think you can continue flipping them up and down without larger problems happening



I'm agonistic on Mendoza but I do believe in Stearns



There is some team regression going on and should level out soon, I hope

What you can do is use this abdominal strain as a pretext to put him on the Injured List, and then send him on a rehab assignment.
