I'm not sure how that happens
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 30, 2025 Posted April 30, 2025 Spent the highlight defensive inning on line for a $5 hot dog. They were slow, taps ran out of beer, lady taking my order was either on her first day on the job or the last.Other than that, high quality game, good weather, friendly interactions with neighboring fans, plus Wifey Bucket and Lunchpail were there. Herget's fielders did him no favors so glad he got out with as little damage as they did. Didn't think Marte's HR had enough distance but was several rows deep--windy.Perdomo is a good hitter.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 30, 2025 Posted April 30, 2025 Just watching the replay. If an inning can get a Gold Glove, that top of the fourth was it.Kind of undercores how Peterson was hit hard most of the outing, but the balls found gloves. Or, more accurately, the gloves found balls.
