Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted January 31, 2025 Posted January 31, 2025 Apparently Mark Canha hasn't received much interest this offseason, and reports are that the Mets have offered him a non-guaranteed contract.

The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted January 31, 2025 Posted January 31, 2025 I liked Cahna, but I think his best days are behind him. One thing he has going for him is that he has experience and can play a credible first base. He could possibly be part of a platoon w/ Winker/Baty at first. Overall, I think that the team needs to add an infielder, more than they need additional outfielders. Preferably, they resign Alonso. If not, then I would like to see them sign Bregman and move Vientos to first base. If neither of Alonso or Bregman are signed, then I think Iglesias is the next best option.
