Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Yeah, I wasn't sure what to think. Don't think I've ever seen that case, particularly in the replay era.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Brazoban: two outs in his first four pitches, three in his first nine.Quite a contrast to Severino's stint.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Perdomo walks, and the Mets have run out of Brazobandwidth.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Strow thrikes, Danny. Here comes Reed Garrett.I feel the need for some Dedniel.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Career splits for Joc Pederson: 845 OPS vs RHP; 630 vs LHPStill just 32 y/o, he seems too young to be a full-time DH and platoon player but there ya go.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Mets. Making the plays and getting the calls. And Garrett has 98.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Always good to get two outs with your last two pitches.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Marte gets the start in the three-hole because the Diamondbacks are starting a lefty, and he gets around for a hard double after they bring in a sidearming righty.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Waiter, I ordered a Nuñez, and you've brought me a Maton.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 28, 2024 Posted August 28, 2024 Instead they bring me the Four-Out Diaz Special.I hope this goes down OK.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Just saw the grand slam , damn
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Just caught up.The Alvabader moment was fun while it lasted. Maybe someone should plant some pine tar in Diaz's glove so he can get suspended.Rubbah matinee today... four out in the hunt...

Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 I don't know. He just wants to talk about Qualcomm.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2024 Author Posted August 29, 2024 I thought Paul Goldschmidt was the only Diamondback authorized to torment the Mets like that.Later
Cowtipper Old-Timey Member Posted August 29, 2024 Posted August 29, 2024 Just finished watching this. Severino stunk (lotta Ks, though), but the offense almost saved him. Unfortunately, the ever-inconsistent Edwin Diaz lost it for them (again). I know why he's called "Sugar," because he keeps making the opponents' victories extra sweet.
