Gary Carter and 1991 are correct! Well done. Two new questions have been added.

1. When the Mets shutout the Phillies three times in a row in May 2010, it was the second time in team history they shutout the same team in three straight games. When was the first time they shutout the same team in three straight games? Please tell me the year they did it and the team they did it against. Also, name the winning pitchers.

Hint: The year was one of the team's highlight seasons. The team they did it against one that is now one of their primary rivals. The winning pitchers debuted for the team in 1967, 1967 and 1969.

Hint: Jesse Hudson and Wayne Garrett debuted for the Mets that year. The team it was against featured Grant Jackson and Dick Allen. The winning pitchers made 12, 2 and 0 All-Star Games, respectively.

Hint: Gil Hodges managed the Mets that year. The team it was against won the World Series in 1980 and 2008. The winning pitchers won 198, 140 and 41 games for the Mets, respectively.

Hint: Carlton Fisk, Darrell Evans and Toby Harrah all debuted that year. The team it was against once had a third baseman named Mike Schmidt. The pitchers who did it won 311, 222 and 46 career games, respectively.

2. Through 2010, when was last time the Mets, while playing at home, gave up a six-run lead and lost the game? The year is acceptable.

Hint: That year, Tommie Agee led in homers, Tom Seaver in wins and Ron Taylor in saves.

Hint: That year, the Mets won 83 games.

Hint: Bob Scheffing was the GM that year.

3. Who was the first Mets catcher to throw out Vince Coleman stealing....and what year was it?

Hint: Debuted for the Mets in 1988.

Hint: Played for the Mets until 1992.

4. What player played for the 1985 Mets and the 1987 Mets when the Cardinals were in the World Series and played for the 1986 Cardinals when the Mets were in the World Series?

5. Jose Reyes first debuted with the Mets on June 10, 2003, playing one game in the Majors at age 19. Who, besides Reyes, were the only other players on that June 10, 2003, Mets roster still actively playing in the major leagues as of June 2010?

Mackey Sasser, Clint Hurdle, 1970 and Ty Wiggington are correct. However, in addition to Wigginton, there was another player, as well. He might or might not have been an effective reliever. #1 wasn't 1968, but you're close, however the Phillies guess is correct. Some new questions have been added.

It was 1969, well done. Imagine, if you will, the first three pitchers in that year's rotation. Then you'll likely have a good idea who the pitchers involved in the feat were.

Heilman was still active, but he wasn't on the June 10, 2003 roster. It was another reliever, a bit more perpetually effective.

Feliciano is correct. For #3, when the question was first posed, the answer was three, but I think we're up to four now.

You got Piazza, Glavine, Hundley and Johnson correct for #5. Think of some underwhelming Mets that were part of big signings or trades from the early 2000s, that might help. Not third base for #4, but you're geographically pretty darn close. 7/21/1991 is correct—it was "against the Dodgers in the bottom of the third and the Mets won 9-4. Mark Carreon, Charlie O'Brien, and Dwight Gooden hit consecutive doubles against Bob Ojeda and the next batter Keith Miller hit a double off of Mike Hartley." For #1, Alonso and Mazzilli are correct. One of the others might have been a good field, no hit shortstop, while the other might have once been traded for Kris Benson.

1. Who are the only players to play 150 or more games for the Mets in their rookie year? Pete Alonso and Lee Mazzilli have been guessed correctly.

Hint: Player 1 debuted for the Mets in 1976. Player 2 debuted in 1996. Player 3 debuted in 2002. Player 4 debuted in 2019.

Hint: Player 1 played for the Mets until 1981, then returned for another stint beginning in 1986 Player 2 played for the Mets until 2002. Player 3 played for the Mets until 2004. Player 4 is still with the Mets.

Hint: The ladies loved Player 1. Luis Lopez did not love Player 2. Orioles fans loved Player 3 in 2010, when he was an All-Star. Player 4 loved tearing the shirts off of his teammates after walk-off hits.

Hint: One of the remaining players was involved in this trade: "December 15, 2002: Traded by the New York Mets to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays for players to be named later. The Tampa Bay Devil Rays sent Russ Johnson (December 16, 2002) and Josh Pressley (minors) (December 16, 2002) to the New York Mets to complete the trade." The other player was involved in this trade: "Traded by the New York Mets with Matt Peterson (minors) and José Bautista to the Pittsburgh Pirates for Kris Benson and Jeff Keppinger."

Hint: Player 1—https://i.imgur.com/MsCDB2o.png>, Player 2—https://i.imgur.com/SNP2QME.png>

2. Who was the first pitcher to hit a HR in Citi Field?

Hint: Spent most of his career with the Pirates.

Hint: While with the Pirates, threw a three-hit shutout against the Mets in 2012.

Hint: Played from 2005 to 2014, going 77-100 with a 4.30 ERA.

Hint: Was a first round pick, #8 overall, in 2003.

Hint: A Spanish person might call this position "campocorto."

Hint: Jose Reyes played here.

Hint: Francisco Lindor plays here.

4. We all know before 2010, the last time the NL won the All-Star Game was 1996......name 5 of the players who were on the rosters of the AL and NL that season who were a Mets player at some point in their careers. Piazza, Glavine, Hundley and L. Johnson have already been guessed.

Hint: There were, by my count, 13 guys total. Four have been guessed for this question. Another one was a second baseman who played for the Mets from 2002 to 2003.

Hint: Another guy was called the "human rain delay."

5. Name 5 more of the players who were on the AL and NL All-Star Game rosters in 1996 who were a Mets player at some point in their careers. Piazza, Glavine, Hundley and L. Johnson have already been guessed.

Hint: There were, by my count, 13 guys total. Hints for five more...one was a reliever who played for the Mets in '05 and '06, another was a catcher who played for the Mets in '07, another was a first baseman who played for the Mets in '02 and '03, another was a reliever who played for New York in '04 and another was a starter who played for the Mets from '98 to '04. This list is not exhaustive and there are others you can guess, as well.

Hint: Another guy called the Yankees his daddy.
