ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Carrasco was very good the last time he faced the Phillies
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Carrasco's https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/gl.fcgi?id=carraca01&t=p&year=2023game log this season shows that the games in which he's had the best bottom line are the games in which he gives up the most line drives. His games with the poorer bottom line have had fewer line drive.I don't know if that means he's been really lucky in his good games or really unlucky in his bad ones. Or maybe neither.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 That intro of optimistic 1962 Mets fans was nice to see againStarting on time

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 I was thinking that wasn't a good time to use the challenge, with a low leverage two-out-at-first-base call. But hey! They won!
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Calling that "conclusive" evidence to overturn that tag is a stretch
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Marte is hit on the handTo my eye hitters are set up more on the inside of the box than of yore
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Too much competition for DH at bats for Vogelbach to keep failing
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Always an adventure with Marte. His rep says otherwise but...
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Playing back with a go-ahead run on third. And Harper walks to load the bags with Realmuto. That's a tough call to make.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Narvaez gets on base and back to leadoffAnd it works
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Running up Wheeler's pitch count AND scoring the go-ahead against him.Win-win.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Nice to see Carrasco get the hard stuff past Schwarber.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Hey! I missed a homer during a commercial break! Mets up by 4-2! Yesterday's score!
