batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 (edited) Alvarez or Alonso? Who's having the better season rate-wise or pound-for-pound? Dont give Alonso extra credit for playing more often. Edited June 12, 2023 by Guest
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 I'd encourage you to poll-arize this thread.I'd probably go for Álvarez, if only slightly.

I'm striving for neutrality.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 I voted for Alvarez, by all accounts the pitchers like what he's doing behind the plate , and he's found his way at the plate , seems to have a very level head about him too.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted June 12, 2023 Author Posted June 12, 2023 I'm the lone Alonso voter. So far. Though admittedly, the two are extremely close, almost inseparable. Offensively, they're having, rate-wise, virtually identical seasons. The flaw with this poll is that youse are being asked to nail a moving target. They're so close, that one or two very good or very bad games for Alvarez can change your minds. That's why I made the poll so that youse could change your votes.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2023 Posted June 13, 2023 What are Alvarez's Rookie of the Year chances? Who are his main competitors?
