Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 I feel like I'm behind you guys, and then ashie goes and announces the Blue Jays have taken the lead. I think a run is about to happen, but Robertson strikes Kirk out and ashie deletes the post.#soconfused.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Robertson K's the guy who doesn't K to kill the threat.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 I tried to quote a post. It says that post didn't exist!I haven't given this game proper attention yet but I'm shocked it'sstill 1-1, every time I focused some I felt they should be losing.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 So lemme get this straight, there's a "three part 'Docu-Series' " on Aaron Rodgers four months prior to him playing a game for the team?!?What happens if he actually wins a game ... Straight to the NYJ HoF?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Pete Alonso stealing bases.#stillconfused
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Marte didn't seem to see the ball at all on that trip to the plate.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Mets feel like a team that just can't get it done today. Sad so far as Megill was very good

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Nice 'Bama reference by Ronnie. Not only is Robertson from Alabama and went up U. Alabama but he also went to Bear Bryant HS
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Robertson executed that pitch. Shit, that smelled like strike three.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Hafta ph Alvarez for Nido
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 That was the kind of pitch that Vlad's daddy hit all the time.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 One run every 18 innings ain't gonna get it done.

The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Rather happy I opted to knock out some yard work, instead of watching the game.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 I wonder what the Mets record is on HOF induction days

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 The Koosman induction was at the beginning of the era when scheduled double-headers had become a very rare thing. The Mets hadn't yet learned to tinker with starting times to be sure folks were in or near their seats as important ceremonial stuff took place before a game, instead of between games. So the seats were pretty sparsely filled for the ceremony and this made me sad. Or perhaps I'm mis-remembering.The Koosman induction also featured a return to Shea of Rube Walker, with Koos saying how important it was to have him there. This made me happy. Or perhaps I'm mis-remembering.
