Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Ryan Weathers has the same round face as his dad David, a 19 yr ML vet including a 2002-3 stint in Queens. The kid at least had the good baseball sense to be born left-handed.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 I'm a fan of letting prospects, no matter how vaunted, hit their way up from the bottom of the lineup.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 vs the LHP Bob Melvin and SD go with two guys combining for about a half billion $$ up top followed by one who'll prolly want a half bil all by himself.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Good to see Snarling Farte back
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Bases loaded, no out and didn't plate a run. Meanwhile, the good guys need their own ground ball inning ender here

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Grisham--his error (as a Brewer) allowed WSH to win the NL WC game in '19 and we know that they went on to win the WS so Grisham can go F himself every day of his life. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUQcKqXW_d0https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUQcKqXW_d0
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Reyes looks like he can throw. It's a little too obvious a reference to choose, but he kind of reminds me of David Weathers, stuffwise.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Lunchie, you and irish need to add your woidle scores for today.I'm not really pheeling Pham so phar.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 HRs tonight for Batty, Vientos, and Mauricio. I know that there's a difference between AAA and the bigs but the Mets' offense is offensive.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Well, let's hope Eighth-Inning Álvarez can step up.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 A nonpatch at bat for Escobar
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 I like them burning the Locastro card here.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Let's see if we can wake up now
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Let's fire the hitting coach.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 You can say we're lacking the big hit here, except that we pretty much haven't had any hits tonight.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 11, 2023 Posted April 11, 2023 Nein. It's Alonso, Canha, and McNubble vs. Hatemonger in the ninth.
