Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Shut up about the homer drought, booth. I just want the guy to hit.
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 De La Cruz has Bassitt's number tonight. His third double of the night ends Bassitt's night. It's up to Drew Smith to get out of the 7th inning.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Double-play to end the top of the seventh.Let's open up the spigot in the bottom of the inning.
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Mets doing a lot of window shopping that inning.
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Escobar's bat has been streaky, but his defense has been solid throughout.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 The call will stand, Miami is now down to 8 more challenges.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Author Posted July 8, 2022 He's kinda sucked.Mets have aa cheap way out after next year, but they're on the hook for 2023.
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Damn. Drew Smith keeps having trouble keeping the ball in the park.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 It feels like this game is 5 hours old.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Down three in the eighth. Marty, Lindy, Lonsy up.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 There's one from Lindy.Lonsy and Neilly to folly.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Running out of outs here. Need more homers
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Three sliders, three swings, three misses.I think Alonso is about to go apeshit in the tunnel.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Author Posted July 8, 2022 That Canha ball four was heart stopping.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 JDD hasn't HR'd since yesterday. He's due.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Good job calling balls and strikes tonight by home plate umpy.
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Escobar needs to redeem himself.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Man, Mattingly has really left Okert hanging.

Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Very bad call there on what was ball 3 (but called strike 1)
Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Oh boy. That might have been our best chance.
The Hot Corner Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Not to be. The Mets had Orert on the ropes, but let him escape. They certainly won't get a shot at Okert next inning.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2022 Author Posted July 8, 2022 Almost fitting it was Escobar that failed.
