And Buck is still in the dugout, you say?

He seemed to accept their explanation but of course the decision was made by the umps who aren't in the stadium so who's he going to cuss out?

Lest it go unsaid, that M&M Deck (or whatever it's called) fence extending right up from the top of the wall is bad for play action and kind of dangerous.

Also, lest it go unsaid, this inning is huge, getting off to a killer start against the team most in position to break the Mets' season, and sending a message to those two streaking teams behind them.

I was rooting for Carrasco to come back out this inning, but after that big layover and big pad on the lead, I'm kind of surprised to see him out there.

Getting through the sixth and now part way through the seventh seems

like it's taken like a freakin' hour.

Cahna would tell you after the game that he should've had that, Keith, because he kind of should've had that.

I just his SABR bio, 5 year career as a reserve middle infielder with several teams, 15 years of minor league managing, only 2 teams he piloted ever finished better than .500

Yeah, good thing Pete banked that Salami or this would be getting a bit tense right about now.

Marlins' TV crew said Medina has a gigantic reverse platoon, 4 bazillion vs. righties, nuthin against lefties. I think that went up tonight.

This shit makes me crazy. Big lead, throw strikes.

When people say that big-league pitchers can throw strikes any time they choose, I like to show them games like this.
