Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 I'll take a turn. Max Scherzer, 4-1, 2.66, for the good guys, Jordan Hicks, 1-3, 4.15, for the Cards.Dog courtesy of our friends from the North:
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Jordan Hicks has been a relief pitcher thus far in his career. May the Mets Maximize their attack upon this experiment.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 That's a beautiful guitar that Mr. Lifeson is sportin' there.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 I'll be making a rare Wednesday Night Mets appearance at this one too. Section 323 with a guy I used to know in college
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 I hope Guillorme is in the lineup. Run up that pitch count.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Buck's a little slow today on the public posting of a lineup.

Marshmallowmilkshake Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Author Posted May 18, 2022 Glad to see Nimmo in the lineup!
roger_that Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Wait. I thought Nimmo's taking a day off was supposed to put McNeil in LF.
vtmet7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Waiting to watch the game on MLB Network...unfortunately, MLB Network had the Dodgers/D'Backs at 4pm, and only the top of the 8th in that game...
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Scherzer dis any diplomats yet today?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Luis Guillorme, looking like an outfielder.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 I hadn't noticed that change in the infield cut-outs before. No idea what the thinking was behind that.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 The booth talked through it a couple of days ago. I don't quite remember, but it had something to do with it being easier to pop replacement sod tiles in and out when there is a soccer game or something.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Derek Jeter is probably out of Albert Pujols' reach.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 =ashie62 post_id=92704 time=1652917697 user_id=90]Max getting ripped.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 At least they are not cardboard cutouts.

After Molitor, who's next and only a few more away, Yaz is next but a full 100 more hits. That's probably a bridge too far for Albert. That was only his 12th hit on the season.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Man, if Guillorme was a hair faster and beat out that GiDP, he'd have scored on this Zeke double.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Brandon Nimmo has a problem with bat sniffing. It's becoming a thing.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 These delayed injury checks and replacements are getting weird.Letting Tommy Edman run into the clubhouse, get his glove, and then come out take warm-up grounders and stretch is kind of goofy. The guy got hurt in the last half inning. Get ready in case he needs to come out.
