TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 I'm all out of boos for this squad. I'll watch for the experience and to represent my team.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 The Cardinals won their 84th game (not in a row, only seems like it), so the 79-win Mets won't be Wild in 2021.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Author Posted September 24, 2021 McCann't strands three, over twenty minutes to get through top of the first.Mets up 1-sniffle.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 25th error of the year for Baez
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Author Posted September 24, 2021 First inning approaching the 45-minute mark.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Author Posted September 24, 2021 I see I exaggerated, the 40-minute mark.

TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Carlos Gomez and Frankie Rodriguez were inducted into the Brewers “Wall of Honor” tonight (which is a wall along the concourse dedicated to Brewer greats). I guess tonight was Gomez officially announcing his retirement. Frankie was not here, but Gomez threw out the first pitch with Yovani Gallardo (also inducted). Gomez went along the third base dugout and waved to Mets fans, too, which I thought was classy. Brewer fans did not seem to take any notice when Villar came to bat, even though he played 3 years with a .748 OPS for Milwaukee.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 Good thing we took advantage of all those baserunners in top one when their starter was on the ropes.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Author Posted September 24, 2021 Odd camera work tonight, it's like the joint keeps getting dark.

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 4 innings, 1:36The 3:30+ streak ain't getting broken tonight cuz this one's going to eleven.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 The Brewer pitcher who barely survived the 1st inning is now cruising thru the 6th
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 The very first batter of the game scored. No Met has come close to scoring since.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 There was no reason to use Megill tonight. He and Taijuan need to start their off-season.
G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 And sometimes the motions go through you.
