bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2021 Author Posted September 20, 2021 Mets are playing the AL East in late September. Wow.There can be some MFY satisfaction if the Red Sox take this series. This nonsense will continue next year as the Mets play Oakland September 23-25, 2022. You're right. Here are the AL WC Standings:https://www.mlb.com/standings/wild-cardhttps://www.mlb.com/standings/wild-cardSo while we want the Mets to win, if the Mets lose it's not all bad.
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 What's the Dropkick's non-mention (but mentioned) thing about?

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 I think "I Will Not Mention The Dropkick Murphys" was in the original draft of my wedding vows.

kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 MMO would be a much more pleasant place to visit if they'd ditch the ads. I got a Jeep pop-up-ad window that froze my laptop for a good minutebefore it finally loaded. There's banner ads on top. Then a small one on the bottom that you can close -- but it's a fucking mess and not fun.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 21, 2021 Posted September 21, 2021 Wow, a Dom Smith appearance. All it took was a trip to the 10-man league.First start for him since September 9, when he whiffed three times in four trips. His last nine appearances have been as a pinch-hitter (nicely going 3-8 with a walk, 2 doubles, and 3 RBI).
