G-Fafif Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 The Red Sox have claimed DFA'd Geoff Hartlieb, who mostly avoided retiring batters in his three Met outings.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 4, 2021 Posted September 4, 2021 Who the hell was Geoff Hartlieb and why did he spell his first name incorrectly?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Played in three games, none of them wins. Gave up runs in all three. Weeks passed between appearances.Went through waivers with a 7.71 ERA including a 14.53 with the Mets. And amazingly, he got claimed. By a good team, too.
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Wore no. 40. Of the many guys we have seen this year mop up some innings, he was one of them.
