Keith gave a reasonable rebuttal as to why he at least semi-agreed with the switch. Still not sure i agree but with two LHBs due up it's defensible.

I think Baez is the first secondbaseman to wear 23 since Tim Bogar. It's been an outfielder's number for a while.

IIRC, Johnny Cueto had some well pitched starts against the Mets back when he was with the Reds. I'm not optimistic about seeing an offensive explosion against him.

Yeah it's a mystery to me, just something we noticed. If the seats in medium left were in fair terroitory the Mets would lead the league in hitting is all

I remember a quote from Orel Hershiser when he was at his peak with the Dodgers about some hitter that hit a 425 foot blast off of him -- but the shot was foul by like 25 or 30 feet. Hershiser wasn't fazed and said he'd take that result every day of the week. He said that the way the pitch was located, it was impossible to hit it fair and that the hitter was a sucker for even swinging at it.
