bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Twitter speculates that it was between Lindor and McNeil concerning the play the previous inning where they didn't communicate well and AZ got a cheap single.
LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 i wouldn't imagine it was that, in and of itself.Castro managed that inning pretty nicely, considering how poorly it started.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Yeah, nice comeback by Castro.McNeil looked upset and Lindy looked ... not smiley. As miscommunications go, that wasn't so bad, but it's two player in the midst of brutal seasons, so who knows? They were able to agree to let Lindy catch the popup this inning, although McNeil didn't seem to be in a hurry to give ground.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Am I wrong, or has Keef seemed to have checked out of this game?
kcmets Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 He's talking now. Maybe he had to take a dump.

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Christ, Diaz in the non-save 9th. Well at least we don't have the made up 2nd base runner rule in place for him.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Man, that hit probably would have gotten Locastro to third. Cabrera getting nailed at second is a heck of a turn of fortune.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Chance for Lindburgh to do it again in the ninth.
LWFS Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 What was that weird gloveslap business at the end of the play there, though? Everybody trying to fight Lindor tonight?
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 McNeil and Lindor to lead off bottom 9 gives the Mets a fighting chance.see what i did there?
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 A punch up in the tunnel?!?I shouldn't a fallen asleep.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Soria doesn't have anything left, does he?
Johnny Lunchbucket Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 He should have hit that over the fence instead

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Wouldn't have liked that move even if it worked.Shades of Carlos Beltran.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 7, 2021 Posted May 7, 2021 Thirty-second suspension for bmfc1.We're in fake runner time.
